A special mention to our Builder Matt, we have found him to be consistently pleasant, dedicated and personable with an extensive knowledge in construction. He is not only friendly and approachable but also has a great attitude. In addition to the this, Matt has a take-charge personality and is able to tackle the most difficult tasks with confidence and a smile. He successfully rectified any small issues without delay and managed to finish our build well ahead of schedule.
We just completed a custom double story build in Hendra and had Matt May as our site supervisor. Not only is Matt May a top human, he is the best site supervisor/builder. Nothing was too hard for Matt and his calm and detailed approach was appreciated. Matt handed our home over super fast in only 24weeks and 1day.
We were fortunate enough to get Matt May as our builder. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He explained everything to us as the build progressed and dealt with issues promptly as they arose. Our build progressed quickly due to his foresight and forward planning. He was always 2 steps ahead of what was happening during the build which saved us being dealt any lengthy delays.

Our Director, Matt May, began his journey in construction at just 17, starting as a shopfitting apprentice where he honed his skills in precision craftsmanship. Over the years, his career expanded into industrial builds, mining sector projects, and tier-one high-rise construction in the city.
A significant career shift came after an injury led him to a role as a site supervisor for a residential builder, where he discovered his true passion—creating high-end, custom homes. With Vilico, Matt is dedicated to building homes with meticulous attention to detail, fostering strong relationships with trades, suppliers, and clients.
His extensive experience across commercial, industrial, and luxury residential construction provides him with a unique perspective, balancing large-scale project management with fine craftsmanship.
